Senior Software Engineer | Agentic Engineering

We are increasingly developing Insurgo using AI agents. Not as a gimmick and not flying blind: agents take over a growing portion of implementation, while you set the direction, review, decide, and take responsibility for the outcome. That is exactly why we are looking for you. Responsibilities: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will drive the end-to-end development of our platform. You will work in close technical collaboration with our product management and report to the Managing Director. Further developing the platform: You are responsible for features ranging from the Rails backend via the REST API to the Angular frontend, from idea to release. Agentic engineering: You work daily with coding agents like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot. You break down tasks so that agents can implement them reliably and ensure quality through code reviews and tests. Knowledge for humans and agents: Together with us, you will build a living knowledge base of code, architecture, and domain knowledge that developers and agents can work with equally. AI in the product: You will further develop our Insurgo Agent and other AI features that noticeably reduce the workload for brokers.
