This position offers nationwide remote flexibility, with a hybrid option in the Pittsburgh, PA area, and is ideal for someone who knows how decks are built and enjoys turning project designs into accurate, construction-ready plans. What You'll Do as the Production Administrator / Preconstruction Manager - Decks & Outdoor Living: Take ownership of custom deck and outdoor living projects once the sales process is complete, preparing each job for a smooth transition into construction. Review drawings, measurements, photographs, contracts, and project specifications to identify missing details or potential installation challenges. Evaluate framing layouts, structural components, connection details, and material requirements to ensure projects are practical and ready to build. Verify material takeoffs and coordinate purchasing for lumber, composite decking, fasteners, hardware, and other construction supplies. Prepare complete job packages that give installation teams the plans, materials, instructions, and information needed to execute efficiently.
