Job Description Position Overview At TransPerfect , linguists are vital to our operations. Your language proficiency and subject matter expertise will ensure our deliverables meet the highest standards before reaching clients. Working closely with your manager and Project Managers, you will translate and proofread documents for a diverse client base in the Life Science industries. This is a client-facing Language Lead position. In addition to linguistic work, the Language Lead is responsible for quality management and for coordinating a team of linguists. This is a remote freelance position open to candidates worldwide. We are currently expanding our pool of freelance linguists who can translate: From English into Simplified Chinese (China) for: CTD Quality CTD Non-Clinical CTD Clinical Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Quality Management Act as a client-facing linguistic point of contact, representing TransPerfect with professionalism. Review and investigate client complaints and quality-related issues, determine root causes, and provide timely, well-documented responses and corrective actions. Maintain language quality standards across projects and accounts. Manage language assets, including translation memories (TMs), glossaries, and style guides, ensuring they are accurate, consistent, and up to date.
