Design Engineer

Civil Design Engineer Key Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Shape land development and infrastructure projects, including stormwater, sanitary systems, roads and utilities. Communicate and coordinate with team members to deliver a wide range of private, and public sector projects, by collaborating with Project Managers and other team members to deliver great projects. Prepare reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Assist your project team with civil and environmental permits and approvals. Work with teams that understand the many aspects of water and are industry leaders in helping protect that valuable resource. Analyze and design projects impacted by or intentionally engaging with streams, floodplain, wetlands, and other water resources. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. 0-6 years related experience. Experience in AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, and MicroStation (preferred). Familiarity with modeling/design tools (HEC-RAS, TR-20, XPSWMM (preferred but not required). Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling/design tools (preferred). Originally posted on Himalayas
