Responsibilities Design logical and physical data models for supply chain products and the VALIP lakehouse (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog). Design databases for migrations to VA sites and the cloud. Set data governance, quality, lineage and access standards in line with VA data policy. Tune performance across SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and Databricks. Senior: database administration, backups, patching and environment refreshes. Qualifications Senior / Lead: 10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in data architecture or engineering. Mid-level / Level II / “Journeyman”: 5+ years in database administration or data engineering. Hands-on Databricks/Spark and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Post
