Emergency Physician 100% Remote - Temporary

The person joining our team will guide and provide medical advice to patients using high-complexity services via telecommunication channels, managing the corresponding medical resource when necessary, in accordance with client guidelines and standards set by Teladoc Health International. Responsibilities: Attend to patients through active listening of the reason for consultation; Conduct a structured interview; Medically determine severity and required level of care; Provide medical advice and guidance to the patient, with the possibility of pharmacological prescription; Activate the appropriate resource for the clinical situation and adapt it according to availability; In case the necessary resource is not available, contact other emergency services; Monitor the patient until the arrival of the resource, if necessary; Properly complete the patient case in the system; Report incidents to the supervisor; Comply with established quality standards following the medical ethical code; Know, stay updated on, and act in accordance with internal management protocols and agreed-upon agreements.
