Sr Software Engineer supporting Cyberlife

About the role We are looking for an experienced individual to join a team of software engineers in support of our primary life insurance policy administration system. That system – Cyberlife - is a mainframe application that administers the large majority of our life insurance business. We have a very experienced staff of engineers, but need additional capacity to develop new products, expand our capabilities, and move us toward a more digital, real-time processing system. What you will do Design, develop, test, and implement enhancements for the CyberLife policy administration platform to support business and customer needs. Participate in Agile/Kanban ceremonies, gather requirements, and provide effort estimates for new initiatives and system improvements. Build and maintain secure, high-performing APIs and integrations that enable real-time data exchange and digital capabilities. Support testing efforts, code deployments, and the movement of applications through development, QA, and production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability, performance, and business continuity. Conduct code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and provide mentorship and technical guidance to fellow engineers. Who You Are Senior Software Engineer with experience supporting and enhancing life insurance policy administration platforms such as CyberLife, Life70, and other mainframe-based systems.
