Job Description Required Certificates and Licenses: A valid teaching license with an endorsement in Technology Education or Information Technology is preferred. Candidates with endorsements in Mathematics, History, Marketing, or other relevant subject areas may also be considered. Virginia teaching licensure is preferred; however, candidates eligible to obtain Virginia licensure through reciprocity will be considered. Residency Requirements: This position is remote and strongly prefers candidates that reside in Virginia May consider candidates that reside in surrounding states: Washington, DC and Maryland Must be able to attend in person PDs, testing, and other school events K12, a Stride Company, believes in Education for ANY ONE. The Teacher is a highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. Teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. Teachers monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system. They actively work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals.
