Senior Accountant, OAS

The Senior Accountant, OAS provides leadership and coordination of accounting services to OAS clients, including month-end closing, financial statement preparation and oversight, and onboarding of new OAS clients. This role applies deep knowledge of the full accounting cycle to deliver accurate, timely accounting services. The Senior Accountant, OAS manages client projects with minimal oversight, mentors junior staff, and serves as a problem solver for both clients and the SNZweig OAS team — identifying root causes of issues and proposing effective solutions. With strong analytical capability and a trusted advisor mindset, this role builds lasting AEC client relationships and contributes to the OAS practice’s growth through cross-selling awareness and networking. What you’ll do at SNZweig: Client Accounting & Financial Reporting Manage month-end close activities for assigned clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and loan accounting. Prepare and oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements using firm and client resources. Review balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement. Research, analyze, and resolve financial discrepancies while documenting findings and recommended solutions. Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting. P
