Seeking an Estimator with a strong civil engineering background and proven experience in construction estimation to support project planning and cost analysis activities. The role is responsible for preparing accurate takeoffs, developing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), reviewing project documentation, and ensuring estimates align with project requirements and applicable construction standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple estimating tasks independently, making this role critical to the successful delivery of construction projects of varying size and complexity. What You'll Do You'll be the kind of person who: Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects. Utilize Bluebeam to perform measurement takeoffs and quantity calculations. Review construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications to identify project requirements. Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs for project proposals and budgets. Analyze project scope and identify potential cost risks, discrepancies, and value engineering opportunities.
