IT Operations Database Expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks: You support the stable and reliable operation of our database landscapes based on Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL, and handle incident and change management tasks. You install, configure, and administer database instances, analyze performance issues, and implement appropriate optimization measures. You help ensure reliable backup and recovery processes, as well as the implementation and monitoring of high availability and disaster recovery concepts. You optimize maintenance jobs and monitoring processes to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of our database systems. You automate operational and deployment processes using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible, and support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for database-related deployments. You contribute to the standardization of our operational processes, ensure data quality and information integrity, and create clear technical documentation. You assist in architecture and platform decisions, explore new technologies such as AI-driven automation, and contribute ideas for the continuous development of our database environments.
