This is a remote position. We are seeking an experiencedShort Sale Expertto join our Sell to Rent team, helping homeowners navigate difficult financial situations when they owe more on their mortgage than their property is worth. This role focuses on guiding homeowners through the short sale process while providing compassionate, consultative support and identifying solutions that allow families to remain in their homes through Sell to Rent options when applicable. The ideal candidate has successfully managed200+ short sale transactions, possesses strong knowledge of lender negotiations, hardship situations, title issues, foreclosure timelines, and has exceptional communication and homeowner advisory skills. Key Responsibilities Homeowner Consultation & Advisory Serve as a trusted advisor for homeowners facing negative equity, financial hardship, or foreclosure risk. Educate homeowners on available solutions, including short sale, Sell to Rent, loan resolution options, and foreclosure alternatives. Conduct discovery calls to understand homeowner financial situations and property conditions. Build trust with distressed homeowners and provide empathetic, solution-oriented guidance. Short Sale Management Manage short sale files from initial homeowner consultation through closing.
