JAVA DEVELOPER

At Rekluti, a consultancy specialized in tech talent in LATAM, we are looking for a Java Developer to drive large-scale software projects for our main international clients. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust JEE applications integrated with Oracle database engines under a remote work scheme, with the availability to travel to Costa Rica based on project needs. Your main challenges: Analyze, design, develop, and implement complex requirements on new and existing applications using Java JEE technologies and Oracle databases. Resolve technical incidents and manage statuses and evidence within the client's institutional Azure DevOps platform. Ensure the technical quality of the delivered software (offering a 6-month technical warranty per compliant package received). Structure and write detailed technical documentation to ensure code traceability and knowledge transfer. Hard Skills (Mandatory Requirements): Completed university bachelor's degree in Computer Science (certified degree). Minimum of 2 application development and maintenance projects in the last 3 years using Java JEE (6, 7, or higher). Technical mastery of: JSF 2.0+, Servlets, JPA 2.1+, EJB, JSP, Maven, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JasperReports, Hibernate, JDeveloper/NetBeans, and Web Services (SOAP/REST). Solid knowledge of TCP/IP Sockets and more.
