General Summary The Interface Systems Analyst is responsible for the functional analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of software application interfaces used at Phelps Health . This position includes working as the liaison between Phelps Health departments regarding application interface issues and application software vendors, all edits and errors associated with each interface, technical and application troubleshooting, and quality assurance and documentation. Collaborates closely with the Epic team when working with any Epic applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works under the direction of the Applications and Interface Manager to daily monitor and maintain the functions of interfaces. Acquires a working knowledge and understanding of healthcare organization third party applications and other healthcare information systems in order to evaluate the functioning of interfaces and applications with which they interface.
