Solutions Marketing Manager

This role manages product marketing for document databases (MongoDB), MySQL, and MariaDB. Percona is fully remote, and open source in our identity. Location : Remote (EMEA or Americas preferred, for core-hours overlap with the team) Reports to : Director of Solutions Marketing (Solutions Marketing is Percona 's product marketing function) Why this role exists Percona sells support, services, and expertise alongside database software. Our software and our services combine to provide users and customers with secure open source databases, free of vendor lock-in. On this team, we help communicate the value and relevance to the people involved in deciding to use our solutions. The right person for this role thinks in use cases and buyer needs, not only product features. You don’t need to come from a product marketing background. If you've done technical content, developer relations, solutions engineering, or technical writing in the database or infrastructure space, and you can translate complex technology into clear messaging, we want to hear from you. What you'll own Initial focus (document databases like MongoDB, MySQL, and MariaDB): Technical product messaging and positioning for Percona ’s MongoDB related offerings, MySQL, and MariaDB support and expertise.
