AI Project Attorney

Overview Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for an AI Project Attorney. This position could be based in any of our U.S. offices and consideration given for 100% remote US locations. The Role: The AI Project Attorney will support the adoption, integration, and utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Firm’s delivery of legal services. This position is part of our Innovation team and collaborates across offices, business units, practice groups, and departments to execute on projects and initiatives. The role reports to the Director of AI Innovation and works in close collaboration with all members of the Innovation team. Responsibilities The AI Project Attorney will support the adoption, integration, and utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) across the firm. Responsibilities include: AI Use Case and Workflows Develop and build generative AI workflows, use cases, and prompts for the practice of law, including identifying agentic use cases Create use case materials for different practice areas, roles, and phases of matters and engagements Expand prompt, workflow, and example libraries, including leading projects to identify content for inclusion and driving utilization by lawyers Collaborate with practice group innovation and practice support attorneys on the adoption and utilization of generative AI in their respective groups Training and Knowledge Sharing Train lawyers and timekeepers on AI, including 1:1 sessions, and serve as a subject-matter resour
