(US) and its India subsidiary, Openprise TechnologiesPrivate Limited (OTPL). Openprise is the AI and data orchestration platform built for enterprise GTM teams,headquartered in San Mateo, California. The Senior Accountant will own day-to-day accounting across both entities, from India payroll and AP through the monthly close, tax filings, and the year-end audit. The role reports to the VP of Finance and suits a hands-on accountant who wants to modernize finance processes with AI and automation. Key responsibilities • Payroll: Process and review monthly payroll in-house for the India entity (OTPL) using payroll software, including statutory deductions and filings (PF, ESI, professional tax, TDS on salaries), and calculate gratuity accruals and payouts. • Accounts payable: Onboard new vendors and customers, including master data setup and tax documentation; manage vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports. • General ledger: Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions in NetSuite; prepare monthly intercompany billing; maintain the fixed asset register; calculate and record depreciation. • Month-end close and reporting: Own close ta
