Audit and Fraud Engineer II

At Novopayment we process millions of financial transactions a day. Each of them goes through controls that protect our clients and operations from fraud, platform errors, and security breaches, and that is where you come in. We are looking for someone with an investigative mindset and a technical eye to audit our processes, detect vulnerabilities before they turn into losses, and turn logs and digital evidence into actionable findings. Your impact in the Role Process and control auditing: evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls over financial, operational, compliance, and technological processes, verifying the integrity, availability, and traceability of information. Fraud investigation: analyze logs, transactional messaging, and events from APIs, processors, wallets, and digital channels to correlate suspicious patterns and execute RCAs on incidents. Access and control management: validate authentication, access management, and segregation of duties, and identify vulnerabilities with the potential to lead to fraud. Evidence and reporting: collect and preserve evidence under audit standards, and translate complex findings into clear reports with business impact and recommendations.
