The GIS Business Information Specialist supports Nationwide ’s geographical management by providing geospatial analysis and mapping expertise to define territory boundaries for Personal Lines pricing and underwriting. These territory definitions and geographic data support new-business quoting, renewals, rating, premium calculation, and underwriting rules. In partnership with actuarial, product, and underwriting partners, they will create and maintain territory definitions and maps that meet business needs while aligning with internal IT and regulatory frameworks. At the same time, they’ll be charged with identifying opportunities to improve and automate workflows.
