We’re looking for a Director, Accounting to own day-to-day accounting and treasury operations, reporting to the Controller. The impact you’ll make: A Mission Lane customer trusts that when they make a payment, it’s recorded right, that their balance reflects reality, and that the company behind their card is solid enough to keep showing up for them next month and the month after that. None of that happens on its own. It’s built close by close, reconciliation by reconciliation, by an accounting team getting the details exactly right. The Director, Accounting owns that foundation, keeping the numbers behind every customer’s progress ready to stand up to scrutiny. In your first year, you’ll take full operational ownership of the day-to-day close and treasury accounting, tightening the close calendar and refining internal controls, audit readiness, and AI-enabled workflows toward IPO readiness demands. You’ll do that by: Leading the month-end close, from pre-close prep through balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis, shrinking the calendar as you progress Owning the monthly consolidation across our multi-entity structure, keeping intercompany elimin
