Technical Manager (Toys/Textiles/Footwear) - Indonesia

This is a remote position. Our client is a UK-headquartered company specializing in the manufacture of toys across Asia. We are seeking a highly skilledTechnical Managerto be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of soft toy development and production. This includes ensuring product design, materials, and manufacturing processes align with quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams such as design, production, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality soft toys. Location: Indonesia - with remote-based Reporting to: Production Director Job Description 1. Product Development & Technical Oversight ● Work closely with designers and product developers to translate creative concepts into manufacturable soft toys. ● Review and approve technical specifications, prototypes, and production samples. ● Oversee pattern-making, sewing techniques, and assembly processes to ensure consistency and quality. 2. Material Selection ● Evaluate and approve fabrics, stuffing, and accessories used in soft toys for durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. ● Ensure all materials comply with safety standards (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA). 3.
