Technical Data Coordinator

We are looking for someone to technically coordinate Data Engineering at Mercos, leading the evolution of our platform and team development. You will be responsible for defining and consolidating architecture, modeling, and data engineering standards, modernizing legacy structures, and ensuring the reliability, quality, and efficiency of solutions. We expect hands-on implementation work combined with the ability to make technical decisions, guide the team's work, and develop people. Our platform supports metrics and information used by different areas of the company. We are evolving the architecture to eliminate old patterns, reduce duplicate sources, expand data coverage, and prepare the structure for new ways of developing and consuming information using Artificial Intelligence. We are looking for someone who can operate both in building solutions and in team coordination, establishing standards, monitoring deliverables, providing feedback, and developing the technical autonomy of people. This position is for you if: You have solid experience in Data Engineering and enjoy staying close to implementation without limiting yourself to task execution. You have led people before and take responsibility for mentoring, giving feedback, tracking performance, and developing the team's capabilities. You enjoy making architectural decisions, establishing standards, and improving the structure as a whole rather than just maintaining what already exists.
