Sr Product Engineer (Python & React)

We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer (Backend-Focused) to join a U.S.-based B2B SaaS product team. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on Python backend development, data modeling, and scalable application architecture , while also contributing to frontend development using React and TypeScript. You'll work closely with Product Management and other engineers to improve an established platform, build customer-facing features, and make technical decisions that support long-term product growth. What You'll Do Design, maintain, and evolve complex data models to support scalable product features. Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django). Improve database performance, data integrity, and application scalability. Lead database schema changes, migrations, and data optimization initiatives. Build and maintain integrations with external systems and APIs. Collaborate with Product Managers to design and deliver customer-facing features. Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript. Evaluate existing architecture and recommend improvements based on business and technical needs. Collaborate with DevOps engineers on AWS-based infrastructure and deployments. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring. Must Have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience. Strong production experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) . Proven expertise in data modeling, database
