Kentro is hiring a Solution Architect V to serve as principal architect on the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Accelerated Transformation of Legacy Applications and Systems (ATLAS) program — one of the largest civilian IT modernization efforts in the federal government. ATLAS covers a mission-support portfolio of more than 200 applications and roughly 3,000 databases, moving the agency off legacy sustainment and onto cloud-native architectures, automated workflows, DevSecOps delivery, and integrated AI capability. The ideal candidate will have experience providing strategic direction for enterprise architecture and technology adoption across a large portfolio. You bring expert command of enterprise architecture frameworks, technology strategy, and digital transformation, and you use it to translate the Chief Architect’s enterprise direction into portfolio and solution target states — not just how any one system gets built.
