Applications Engineer An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal as an Applications Engineer. The Applications Engineer will be responsible for evaluating our customers manufacturing needs and providing a complete engineering solution with associated costs. Working with our customers, you will engage in customer-facing activities such as troubleshooting and providing technical support to sales and other departments. The successful candidate will be competent with CNC programming 3 and 5 axis machines and be able to provide advice on fixturing (workholding & tooling), and machining processes. This will require a sophisticated level of technical expertise that will include experience of manipulating solid models, working knowledge of various materials, and knowledge of a variety of machine tools (Mazak, DMG, Okuma, Starrag, Grob, TAJMAC, Chiron, EMAG and etc).
