Senior Software & Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

IRPD GmbH is a mid-sized, internationally active, research-oriented technology company headquartered in the Munich metropolitan area, successfully operating in the market of electronics and software development for applications in logistics, human medicine, and veterinary medicine. The systems developed combine sensor technology, embedded hardware, data platforms, and modern web technologies. The acquisition, processing, analysis, and visualization of large amounts of sensor data is a core competency of the company. We are looking for an experienced professional immediately. Tasks include: Architecture and development of distributed backend systems for processing and archiving sensor data (e.g., Python, MongoDB, MQTT, RabbitMQ); Design and implementation of scalable data pipelines and data platforms; Development of modern Angular-based web applications for visualizing large volumes of data, as well as CI/CD pipelines and container infrastructure (GitLab, Docker); Development and integration of embedded and edge systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi); Building and further developing the existing software architecture and development processes; Planning and implementation of automated tests and quality assurance processes. Qualifications: Experienced software engineer with system understanding in frontend, backend, and distributed systems; Experience in developing complex software systems and a high interest in technically demanding development projects; Very good programming skills in Python.
