Job Overview The Database Manager leads the team responsible for the database architecture of Intelerad's medical imaging solutions. The incumbent defines the database strategy and standards for our PACS, RIS, and enterprise imaging platforms, ensuring they remain scalable, secure, and highly available. They build and advance a high-performing team of database engineering and architecture specialists, recruiting, mentoring, and engaging them around clear objectives. Working alongside software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and product management, they align this strategy with product roadmaps. They advocate for database considerations in decisions affecting system reliability and patient care. Key Responsibilities Lead, recruit, and develop a team of database engineering and architecture specialists. Set clear performance and professional development goals, and hold regular check-in meetings. Build a team capable of meeting Intelerad's current and future database needs. Take ownership of the database architecture strategy and standards for Intelerad's medical imaging platforms. Ensure designs are scalable, secure, and reliable across on-premise and cloud deployment models.
