Backend Software Engineer - AI Systems (m/w/d)

Your focus is on system architecture, AI integration, and long-term product quality. Tasks Architecture and further development of our Python backend with a focus on AI systems. Conception and implementation of RAG architectures for productive use cases. Building and maintaining AI pipelines (ingestion, retrieval, context control, inference). Design and orchestration of agent workflows including state and error handling. Evaluation of trade-offs between quality, latency, cost, and scalability. Ensuring stability, monitoring, and long-term maintainability. Qualifications Mandatory Several years of experience in backend engineering with Python. Very good understanding of scalable backend architectures and APIs. Experience with productive systems. Not just prototypes. Ability to make technical decisions
