IT Solution Architect

Tasks and Responsibilities As an IT Solution Architect, you analyze, design, document, and guide IT solutions throughout the entire lifecycle of a portfolio initiative. You map out the current situation, determine architectural constraints, and translate business needs and functional requirements into forward-looking, secure, scalable, and manageable solutions. You record the architecture in SAP LeanIX and monitor its coherence throughout the entire lifecycle of applications and integrations. You monitor the alignment between business needs, functional requirements, and technical solutions. You develop solution scenarios and clearly present the advantages, disadvantages, risks, costs, and dependencies. You ensure that solutions fit within the enterprise architecture, security guidelines, technological standards, and strategic roadmap. You support delivery and product teams during analysis, development, implementation, migration, and commissioning. You document architectural decisions and guarantee traceability between requirements, design choices, and realized solutions. You identify architectural risks, deviations, and technical debt for the relevant governance bodies. You do not just work on high-level design, but also deliver architecture diagrams, well-founded design decisions, trade-off analyses, validations via proof of concepts, and guidance during implementation.
