DevOps Engineer Azure & Kubernetes (Permanent or Freelance)

Tasks and Responsibilities Purpose of the role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you manage, automate, and improve cloud and platform infrastructures within a complex and highly regulated environment. You support development and operational teams in achieving reliable, secure, and reproducible deployments. Additionally, you contribute to the further professionalization of the DevOps operations. You combine technical expertise with a pragmatic and proactive approach. You act as a reference person for operational issues regarding infrastructure, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and automation. You also actively share knowledge and mentor less experienced colleagues. Education and Language Skills Bachelor's degree. Native-level proficiency in Dutch or French. Professional working proficiency in the other national language (Dutch or French). Good professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Soft Skills Proactive and results-driven mindset. Taking ownership of assigned tasks and duties. Analytical capability and a structured approach to complex problems. Ability to transfer technical knowledge in a structured and understandable way to colleagues. Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
