Electrical Engineering Senior Manager - Data Center Mission Critical

Overview Due to continued growth, our Data Center Mission Critical Group is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager - Electrical. This role leads and provides direction for the Data Center Mission Critical Electrical Design and Analysis Engineering team of engineers and technical staff designing Data Center greenfield and brownfield projects. This position can be based in the following locations: Atlanta, GA (Kennesaw) Chicago, IL (Naperville) Charlotte, NC Emeryville, CA Remote in the US Responsibilities Products/Deliverables: Ensure the Engineering Unit staff maintain schedules, budgets and quality of deliverables. Work with Project Managers to define the scope of work. Direct/assign work to the Engineering Unit to balance activities. Assigns Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE). Maintain responsibility for the Unit’s quality; establish and enforce quality standards for the Unit through the Work Group Leads and Supervisors. Maintain, update, and execute Unit Continuous Improvement Plans. Accountable for ensuring project budget and schedule are met for Unit’s assigned projects. Responsible for the approval of engineering documents produced by the Unit. Leadership and Staff Development: Hire, develop and retain staff. Identify and promote opportunities for site work. Identify and promote training opportunities (ex: owner’s groups, manufacturer, professional society). Utilize the review/approval process of deliverables as technical training opportunity for staff.
