Data, Reporting & Automation Analyst (Payroll)

Role Overview We are looking for a Payroll Data, Reporting & Automation Analyst to join a Payroll Shared Services Center in Portugal, supporting payroll processing operations in France. The role combines data analysis, reporting, operational controls, and process automation. Working closely with Payroll, Project, and Management teams based in France, you will contribute to information quality and consistency, operational efficiency, and the digitization of activities. Key Responsibilities Support French payroll teams in extracting, validating, and analyzing data and generating reports; Prepare control, reconciliation, and support analysis files for payroll processing; Verify data quality and consistency, identifying anomalies and supporting their investigation and resolution; Produce operational reports and dashboards to support Payroll teams and management; Analyze payroll processing data, identifying trends, inconsistencies, and potential operational risks; Develop and maintain Excel tools and automation solutions, including VBA macros; Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual work; Improve and optimize existing reporting and analysis tools; Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives for payroll operations; Contribute to the standardization and documentation of processes and working methodologies.
