Mechanical & Electrical Drafter / CAD Drafter - Dayshift Remote

ROLE OVERVIEW: We are seeking a detail-driven and highly proficient Mechanical & Electrical Drafter to join our team on a full-time, independent contractor basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining high-precision 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings for electrical cabinets, switchboards, and related assemblies. Working in direct alignment with our core engineering operations during Australian business hours, the ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, exceptional drafting speed and accuracy, and a proactive mindset toward design integrity and document control. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacturing Drafting: Produce precise, manufacture-ready electrical cabinet and switchboard drawings, including General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, panel layouts, termination diagrams, and cable schedules.
