Aviation Software Verification & Test Engineer Remote | East Coast Hours | Up to 10% Travel | Full Time Position Overview Crown Innovations is seeking an experienced Aviation Software Verification & Test Engineer to support the development, verification, and certification of advanced aviation navigation systems. This position will support functional, system, performance, and hardware/software integration testing for safety critical avionics applications. The selected engineer will develop and execute test cases, test scripts, procedures, and verification activities designed to evaluate system performance against defined technical and certification requirements. The role requires deep experience with DO-178C software verification and certification , avionics software and hardware testing, requirements-based verification, and safety critical aviation systems. The successful candidate must be capable of independently analyzing requirements, developing verification approaches, executing tests, evaluating results, documenting anomalies, and producing high-quality verification evidence. This position also requires hands on experience with SCADE , strong Java development experience, and familiarity with avionics certification and aircraft safety analysis.
