Renewable Energy Mid/Senior Level Real Estate Attorney

Clean Energy Counsel , a mission-driven law firm dedicated to accelerating the world’s transition away from fossil fuels, seeks to hire a highly qualified mid/senior-level Real Estate associate with excellent law firm experience and academic credentials to join our firm. We are looking for an attorney who can independently lead and support on all aspects of real estate transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting legal documents, reviewing title and survey, researching relevant legal issues, and leading/coordinating the closing process. This position is fully remote – as a distributed law firm, we offer the opportunity to work remotely from wherever you are licensed to practice law. Experience and Qualifications Required Experience: 6-9 years’ experience in the Real Estate practice of a recognized national or regional law firm and a demonstrated interest in and desire to serve the clean energy industry. Hands-on experience leading real estate transactions, including due diligence, title and survey, drafting site control documents, and supporting deal teams on the real estate aspects of financing and M&A transactions. Strong deal management, organization, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in legal research and drafting. Ability to work independently and with a team.
