Pluggable Modem Optical Test Engineer Ciena is seeking a Pluggable Modem Optical Test Engineer to contribute to the quality, performance, and manufacturability of optical communication products. This role plays a key part in executing optical test activities, resolving production issues, and supporting product lifecycle initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position contributes to reliable product delivery through data-driven testing, analysis, and continuous process improvement. How you will make an impact: Implement optical test plans and procedures for pluggable modem products in accordance with technical specifications. Resolve factory technical issues and provide guidance for product rework activities. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and product development teams to address optical performance issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing optical test processes. Participate in new product introduction and ongoing product lifecycle support activities. Document test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to cross-func
