Network Designer, IP & Services

We are seeking a Network Designer, IP & Services to design and develop networks and services delivered across fibre, coaxial, fixed wireless, and transport infrastructure. This role is responsible for creating the technical blueprints that support Internet, voice, video, core and transport networks, as well as corporate LAN and WLAN environments. Responsibilities include developing network architectures, detailed designs, capacity plans, bills of material (BOMs), and technical standards that ensure networks are scalable, reliable, and efficient. A key focus of this position is establishing and maintaining standardized network and service designs. The successful candidate will work closely with technical and project teams to develop reference architectures, design standards, and documentation that support new deployments, network expansions, capacity upgrades, and technology lifecycle initiatives. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Standards Develop and maintain reference architectures for Internet, voice, video, core routing and transport services, and corporate LAN/WLAN environments. Establish design standards, naming conventions, IP addressing schemes, and documentation templates. Incorporate security, resiliency, scalability, and operational requirements into all network designs. Ensure adherence to established standards while documenting approved deviations.
