The Service Representative, Brokerage Placement – Commercial Lines will provide policy service and underwriting support by handling policy status requests, certificates of insurance, and risk evaluations while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves collaborating with agents and partners, managing work priorities to meet service level agreements, and contributing to business growth through exceptional customer service and process improvements. How You Will Contribute: Perform policy service activities primarily by phone and electronically within established time and service standards. Service activities include handling policy status requests, certificates of insurance (COI), renewal follow-up requests, and other related tasks. Assist underwriters with agency support activities and aim to complete all transactions in a first time-final mode. Make decisions to accept, modify, or decline business of lower complexity according to policies, practices, and standards. Determine the accurate classification of risks to ensure the matching of price and product to the customer. Make endorsement decisions based on acceptability of endorsements.
