Blue Circle Health is a nonprofit organization working to improve how type 1 diabetes (T1D) care is delivered and accessed. Funding from The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust makes it possible to provide our 6-month virtual care, education, and support program to adults with T1D for free. Designed based on need rather than traditional reimbursement rules, our whole-person model is individualized and can include endocrinology care, diabetes education, insurance navigation, peer support, diabetes supportive counseling, help paying for T1D medications and supplies, and connections to community resources. We work alongside existing healthcare providers to fill gaps in care and empower people to manage this 24/7 condition. We’re building a high-quality, scalable model for better T1D care—and we’re looking for mission-driven professionals who want to help create the healthcare system people with T1D deserve. Our ambition is to reach and support as many people living with T1D across the country as possible, and that urgency shapes how we work: we move quickly, set a high bar, and work hard to turn our mission into meaningful impact at scale.
