Generic Prescription Drug Purchasing Manager Remote, United States | Eastern Time Zone Preferred, but open Base Salary: $110,000 to $160,000 Absolute Requirements Applicants must have direct experience purchasing finished-dose generic prescription drugs from pharmaceutical manufacturers for resale or distribution. Qualified candidates must have: At least 3 years of direct generic prescription drug purchasing experience with a pharmaceutical wholesaler, distributor, generic purchasing organization, or GPO. Personally negotiated pricing, purchasing agreements, or supply contracts with manufacturers of finished-dose generic prescription drugs. Established commercial relationships with generic prescription drug manufacturers. Experience identifying and sourcing commercially available generic prescription products. This is a buying-side position, not pharmaceutical sales or general procurement. Experience purchasing APIs, raw materials, ingredients, packaging, clinical supplies, or manufacturing equipment does not qualify. Manufacturer-side pharmaceutical sales experience alone does not qualify.
