Akamai Workforce Protector - Applicative Infrastructure Seeking a Senior Backend Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate the backend systems and infrastructure that support our security platform. You'll work across cloud services, infrastructure, and data systems to help scale our services, pipelines, and databases. In this role you will be: Designing, building, and operating scalable backend services and the infrastructure that supports them. Owning production systems end to end, with a focus on availability, performance, observability, and operational readiness. Building and maintaining reliable ETL and data-processing pipelines for production workloads. Working with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse to support data-intensive systems, including schema design, query performance, and data lifecycle needs. Developing and operating event-driven processing with Kafka and integrating it with backend services.
