AI Engineer (Part-time) AI Agents & Automation

AIT Tech Venture is a technology company that develops digital products and intelligent automation solutions for the Spanish-speaking market. We work on our own projects as well as with clients, always at the intersection of AI, process automation, and fintech. We are looking for a part-time AI Engineer based in LATAM to join one of our fastest-growing internal projects — an AI agent-based automation system with payment platform integration. Tasks Develop autonomous AI agents with decision-making and financial task execution capabilities Build and integrate REST APIs to connect the agent with external systems Implement agentic workflows using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic) Work with emerging agent-to-agent communication protocols (MCP, A2A) Collaborate directly with the technical team on architecture decisions Requirements Strong Python skills and experience with REST APIs Hands-on experience with LLMs and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API) Knowledge of agentic architectures and autonomous workflows Asynchronous and autonomous work style — we know how to manage without micromanagement Native or fluent Spanish 20 hours per week of real availability Preferred: experience in fintech or payments, Stripe API, MCP Must-haves: Python, LLMs / Large Language Models, LangChain, OpenAI API, REST API Development, AI Agents / Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering Desirable: Anthropic / Claude API, LlamaIndex, MCP (Model Context Protocol)
