The Data Platform team builds and operates systems that centralize all of Coinbase's internal and third-party data, so teams across the company can access, process, and transform it for analytics, machine learning, and end-user experiences. As a senior engineer, you will work across the full stack of our systems: foundational processing and storage, scalable pipelines, and the frameworks and internal tools that make data easy to use. What you’ll do: Design, build, and operate foundational data services, including storage (cloud warehouse, data lake), orchestration (Airflow), batch processing (Spark, SQL), and streaming (Kafka). Build and maintain data integration and processing SDKs used by internal services and product teams. Design self-service tools so users can manage and troubleshoot their own data pipelines.
