The role As Senior Accountant, you report to the Controller and work alongside the Senior Director of Finance and the Head of Finance. Fully remote role within the Netherlands. What you will do Close & reporting Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries/accounting analysis Perform balance sheet analysis and reviews, including reconciliations of accounts Follow up with vendors/suppliers on missing invoices; full accountability for cost accruals for the P&L review Reconcile intercompany transactions Prepare financial KPIs and review them for accuracy Prepare ad-hoc performance analysis and management reporting Perform monthly variance analysis of actual vs. plan (budget/forecast) Compliance & controls Prepare and process payroll tax returns, VAT returns and intra-community (ICP) declarations for local entities Lead the completion of annual statutory audits, yearly closing of financial statements and tax filings, and ad-hoc compliance requirements Process payments and bank transfers and ensure approvals are adequa
