Job Summary We are seeking a quality or industrial engineering professional with hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding inspection, metal stamping, and laser cutting. This role will evaluate supplier manufacturing capabilities, establish quality requirements, and drive process improvements to ensure fabricated metal parts and assemblies meet engineering specifications and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Assess and qualify suppliers for metal fabrication processes, including welding, stamping, laser cutting, forming, and assembly. Conduct supplier process audits to evaluate manufacturing controls, equipment capabilities, inspection methods, and quality systems. Review engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), material specifications, and customer requirements to identify critical dimensions, features, and functions.
