Job Description: Data Engineer II About the Role The Data Engineer II is a senior individual contributor on the Data & Reporting team responsible for translating business questions into clear reporting solutions, building data pipelines, conceptualizing and delivering trusted dashboards and analyses, and helping stakeholders move faster with better data. This role is best suited for someone with strong SQL skills, experience clarifying complex reporting needs, and the ability to turn raw backend data into actionable insights. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and technical teammates to understand reporting needs, validate data, improve reporting outputs, and support a more scalable self-service data environment over time. Key Responsibilities Partner with internal stakeholders to understand reporting needs, clarify business questions, and define the right analytical approach. Write and refine SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from core business systems. Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and recurring reporting assets that deliver clear, accurate insights to teams across the business. Work across backend data sources, including systems such as Salesforce and Manage, to support reporting and analysis needs. Validate data quality, investigate discrepancies, and troubleshoot reporting issues to improve trust in outputs.
