AU Intermediate Accountant

Position Title: Intermediate Tax Accountant Work Set-up: Permanent Work From Home Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM PHT Salary Budget: Php 70,000.00 – 85,000.00 The business is a boutique rapidly growing accounting firm based on the Northern Beaches of Cairns. The firm has been in existence for less than 5 years but has grown revenue nearly 5 times during that period. The firm is full electronic and online with remote workers already in place. Due to the growth of the firm and its clients an opportunity presents itself for this new position. The clients are across a variety of industries and sizes and include construction, primary production, legal, retail and tourism. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience). At least 3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience. Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely with minimal supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES: A.
