Technical QA Engineer Location: Remote (Pakistan) Job Type: Full-time Work Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience Role Overview We're looking for a Technical QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our software products! As we increasingly use AI and development agents to build and improve software, we need someone who can independently validate what those systems produce — both from a user perspective and at a technical level. In this role, you'll test applications, APIs, databases, integrations, and new features; review and understand code well enough to identify potential quality, logic, and security issues; build and maintain automated tests; and investigate technical problems using logs, debugging tools, and application data. We're in need of someone who's technically strong to understand how a system works, challenge assumptions, investigate failures, and independently determine whether software is behaving correctly. Key Responsibilities Test new features, improvements, integrations, and bug fixes across our software products. Perform functional, regression, integration, API, database, exploratory, and edge-case testing. Review and understand application code well enough to design better tests, identify likely failure points, investigate issues more deeply, and validate software behavior independently.
