Technical Director (m/w/d)

On behalf of our client, a leading international service provider for the automotive industry, we are looking for an experienced operational leader. Our client supports renowned automotive manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers (Tier-1) with customized solutions in the field of vehicle quality—from production launch to series production. To strategically develop the business division in Germany and ensure profitable growth, we are looking for you as Technical Director (m/w/d). Your Responsibilities You assume nationwide management for the Vehicle Quality service area and control operational execution at various customer locations. You bear full P&L responsibility and ensure compliance with budgets and forecasts, as well as the optimization of revenue and contribution margins. You manage 6 to 10 direct reports (Area and Project Managers) and indirectly oversee a team of around 160 employees at the project sites. You are responsible for resource and personnel planning for projects in the areas of quality inspection, rework, retrofit, and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). You act as a strategic point of contact and escalation level for automotive manufacturers. At the same time, you implement growth strategies and generate new business in cooperation with internal departments. Your Profile You have a degree in engineering, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
