About the team You’ll join Zillow’s Revenue Accounting team within the Controllership organization, where accuracy, integrity, and thoughtful partnership help power confident decision-making across the business. This team manages complex operational accounting activities, supports timely and compliant financial reporting, and works closely with Finance and cross-functional partners to strengthen processes and solve problems. About the role The Senior Accountant - Revenue applies advanced accounting knowledge to perform complex operational activities, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and support timely, compliant reporting. This role partners closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and provide insights that help leaders make sound business decisions. You will: Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of journal entries, account reconciliations, and schedules to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial results. Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities for assigned areas, identifying root causes of variances, resolving discrepancies, and recommending process improvements. Analyze trends and key drivers in assigned accounts, preparing clear summaries and explanations for management reviews and internal reporting.
